Alecia Harris

In 2001, at the height of her career as a single mother of three, Alecia was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. In 2002 she started “Walking with Faith” which today is a successful non-profit made up of more than 100 volunteers who work together, hold benefits, and organize educational events to raise funds toward ending the devastating effects of MS.

Alecia has passed on her energy and altruistic nature to her children, who have followed in her footsteps. The boys and their friends organized their own group, Kids FUN-RAISE. Kids FUN-RAISE hosts "Kids Roller Skate for MS," "Kids Bowl for MS," and "Kids Jump Rope for MS" to raise funds for MS.
